Claudia Gonzalez, M.S., Mental Health Professional

Claudia Gonzalez is a dedicated mental health professional who passionately integrates art, music, poetry, and photography into her therapeutic approach, recognizing their profound impact on healing and self-expression. With a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and dual undergraduate degrees in art and science, Claudia brings a unique blend of creativity and scientific understanding to her practice.

During her academic journey, Claudia completed internships that allowed her to work closely with parents of children diagnosed with Autism, both individually and in group settings. This experience ignited her desire to extend her support beyond the early years, leading her to focus her work on young adults and adults diagnosed with ADHD. Additionally, Claudia provides guidance and therapy to individuals processing grief, anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues.

Claudia firmly believes that therapy is a collaborative process, where the client and therapist work together to overcome challenges and achieve personal growth. She sees seeking therapy as a sign of strength and resilience, and she encourages her clients to embrace their willingness to embark on this transformative journey.

In addition to her individual therapy sessions, Claudia is dedicated to creating a community that raises awareness about removing the stigma surrounding mental health. She actively engages with the community through workshops, networking events, and public speaking engagements, where she educates and empowers individuals to prioritize their mental well-being. Claudia's creative evidence-based approach to therapy allows her clients to tap into their inner creativity, explore their emotions, and discover new paths to healing and self-discovery.

“I 1000 percent recommend this Tharapy office. I have been going a little over 6months now and I don’t recognize my self from how much I improved for the Better. I’m so happy with my therapist and took me a while to find them, But I’m so thankful I did. I have recommended them to several friends and family members. If you’re looking for friendly, professional, respectful, thoughtful therapists this is the place to be! Hope this helps anyone who is thinking of going to therapy. Love this place and their people!!!”
